Welcome to Wars of the Roses Con (WotRCon). By purchasing a ticket or participating in any aspect of this event, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before attending.
General Admission Policies
- Ticket Purchase: All tickets must be purchased through the official WotRCon website or authorized vendors. Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred with prior written approval from the event organizers.
- Code of Conduct: WotRCon is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. All attendees, vendors, and staff must adhere to the Code of Conduct, available here.
- Age Restrictions: Attendees under the age of 18 must be by an adult at all times.
- Right to Refuse Entry: WotRCon reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals from the event without a refund if they violate these terms or the Code of Conduct.
Liability Waiver
- Assumption of Risk: By attending WotRCon, you acknowledge that participation in activities such as combat demonstrations, dancing, and workshops involves inherent risks. You assume all risks associated with these activities.
- Personal Belongings: WotRCon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
- Medical Emergencies: In case of a medical emergency, attendees are responsible for their own medical expenses. First aid assistance will be available on-site.
Intellectual Property
- Event Content: All lectures, panels, workshops, and other event content are the intellectual property of WotRCon or its presenters. Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
- Photography and Videography: By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed by event staff. WotRCon may use these images for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform a staff member at check-in.
Vendor and Sponsor Agreements
- Booth Set-Up: Vendors and sponsors must adhere to the setup and teardown schedules provided. Non-compliance may result in penalties or forfeiture of booth space.
- Product Liability: Vendors are solely responsible for the safety and legality of the products they sell.
- Sponsorships: Sponsors must comply with all branding guidelines and submit promotional materials for approval prior to the event.
Force Majeure
WotRCon is not liable for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or health emergencies.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United States.
